On August 14, composer, vocalist, and producer Lisa Bielawa releases Blueprints I, a digital-only album featuring ten world premiere recordings of Bielawa's compositions. Her five-concert residency at The Stone (a performance initiative founded by John Zorn) in NYC was to take place the very week in March 2020 that the city went into lockdown.

Formed by UK Subs and ex-Iggy Pop bassist Alvin Gibbs, the Disobedient Servants feature a core threesome of Gibbs on lead vocals and bass guitar duties, fellow UK Sub drummer Jamie Oliver and The Ruts' guitarist Leigh Heggarty. The group enlisted a host of supporting players for their debut album Your Disobedient Servant, including Brian James of The Damned, James Stevenson Gen X/Gene Loves Jezebel, Mick Rossi of Slaughter & The Dogs, Barrington Francis of The Saints, The Godfathers' Steve Crittall (who also co-produced) and more!

Adding to an already star-studded lineup, a?oeThe Music of Carly Simona?? at Carnegie Hall today announced that Deborah Cox, Jimmy Webb, Julie Simon, Natasha Bedingfield, Susanna Hoffs, Tony Shalhoub, and the Romulus Hunt Quintet have signed on to honor the Grammy, Oscar, and Golden Globe winning singer/songwriter, Carly Simon at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, March 19. Also announced today was the all-star house band, led by Teese Gohl and accompanied by Mick Rossi, David Saw, Peter Calo, Rick Marotta and Will Lee. The Philip Glass Ensemble (PGE) will give the Philadelphia premiere of Philip Glass's monumental work Music in Twelve Parts presented by the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 6pm. Music in Twelve Parts runs five hours, with two intermissions and a dinner break. This marks the first performance in Philadelphia by the Philip Glass Ensemble in 21 years.

Sparked by the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, this moving production reimagines the world as it was on the eve of that tragic and cataclysmic day.

The Robert Wilson/Philip Glass collaboration Einstein on the Beach, An Opera in Four Acts has announced a 2012-2013 international tour. The revival, helmed by Wilson and Glass along with choreographer Lucinda Childs, marks the first full production in 20 years.
