The Road Theatre Company has added a new captioning system to its state-of-the-art theatre in North Hollywood and the company will now be able to offer three captioned performances for the deaf and hard of hearing communities for their upcoming world premiere of ROBBIN, FROM THE HOOD.

Fresh off the heels of his captivating CMA Fest performance, Logan Crosby will release a debut album, titled 2019, and embark on his first ever headline tour by the same name. Releasing everywhere on September 27, Logan’s first full-length body of work will feature lead singles “You’re Still,” “Girl Next Door,” and SiriusXM Highway find “2019,” plus 10 brand new tracks from the soulful, Georgia-bred storyteller.

HOW TO BE AN ETHICAL SLUT, an award-winning one-woman musical-comedy show is set to return to Charlotte. The production will run May 30th & 31st at the Comedy Arts Theatre of Charlotte (CATCh).

Grammy-nominated artist T. Graham Brown was inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, May 3rd, by Opry member Vince Gill. They were joined onstage by Opry members John Conlee, The Isaacs, Don Schlitz, Jeannie Seely, and Mark Wills, who all wanted to participate in the induction and welcomed Brown to the family.

The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors has announced that Mel Brooks, legendary comedian and writer of The Producers, will be receiving a special honor at the 84th annual Peabody Awards. Additionally, Quinta Brunson, the award-winning writer, producer, actor, and comedian, has been honored with the Peabody Trailblazer Award. On June 9 in Los Angeles, they will both receive the awards at the annual ceremony which honors excellence in television, podcast/radio, and immersive and interactive media.

Peter Jutras, PhD and director of Hugh Hodgson School of Music, is named the new dean of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
