When I heard that CONWAY MEN’S CHORUS was celebrating 25 years of singing, I knew I needed to check out their Holiday Concert Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Reynolds Performance Hall at The University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and I loved this celebration of music, community, and the holiday spirit. Not only did they have a beautiful repertoire, but they let others shine that evening as well.

Today’s spotlights are on two outstanding performers that I love to see on stage. GRACE PITTS grew up in the Central Arkansas theatre scene and continues to make waves in the entertainment field. KEIREN MINTER still helps with his community, even though he is busy thriving in school. Both features are captivating to watch, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

What did our critic think of THE BIG DAY at The Lantern Theatre? The Community Arts Association of Conway/The Lantern Theatre celebrated their 50th Anniversary Friday, Oct. 20, in Downtown Conway. Newly appointed President Trent Reese addressed the many friends and families that have supported and continue to support the thriving community theatre troupe and introduced his original play THE BIG DAY that was dramatically read to the partygoers.
