Bachelor of Arts in Music with Vocal, Keyboard, and Instrumental Concentrations

Minor in Music


The BA in Music is an exciting and comprehensive program that provides extensive instruction in technical music skills and interpretive and creative approaches to music within the context of a broad liberal arts curriculum. Musical skills are developed through studio instruction, ensemble participation, solo performance, study of supporting music courses, and a final capstone experience. The Music Program’s central goals for students include developing competence and leadership in the major area of study and preparing students for a variety of careers in the field of music and for entry into graduate programs.

Chicago Cabaret Professionals Emerging Artist Showcase Finalists Set To Perform This Week

The five finalists of the 2023 Chicago Cabaret Professionals Emerging Artist Showcase will be performing on August 24 at 7:30pm at Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago. Each will perform a three-song set and a panel of judges will determine the winner, who will receive the Denise Tomasello Cabaret Scholarship to support the production of a solo cabaret show.

Production Residencies Support Two Chicago Dancemakers
