David Van Tieghem is a multi-talented artist with an impressive resume that includes work in music, theater, film, and television. Born in Illinois in 1955, Van Tieghem began his career as a percussionist and composer, but quickly expanded his talents to include acting and choreography. Van Tieghem's Broadway debut came in 1983 with the musical "The King and I," in which he played the role of Lun Tha. He also served as the production's percussionist and music arranger.
