Insomniac has leveled up the New Year’s Eve experience for music connoisseurs, unveiling its newest festival series, Forever Midnight, set to debut in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. On Saturday, December 30 and Sunday, December 31, LV FestPark (3000 S Las Vegas Blvd) and Los Angeles’ LA Convention Center.

The Crown Jewels marks writer Simon Nye’s, who is best known as the writer for Men Behaving Badly, West End debut. This historical heist, based on a true story, centres around King Charles II and the plot to steal the crown jewels and features a cast made up of some of the best British comedians including Al Murray (in his stage debut), Mel Giedroyc and Neil Morrissey.

Miami’s The Hails pair an official video with their latest carefree single “When You Were Bored.” Directed and produced by Steph Rinzler of Prophet Media, the video takes a full swing at the classic daydream every student has had of tying up the teacher, trashing the classroom and trading in the doldrums of everyday life for rock and roll.

BroadwayWorld UK had the chance to attend a rehearsal of Simon Nye’s The Crown Jewels. We were treated to some performances from the cast, a Q&A with writer Simon Nye and director Sean Foley, and the opportunity to speak with some members of the cast and crew about the show.
