Virginia Repertory Theatre presents a captivating production of Roald Dahl’s classic story, featuring Matt Shofner as Willy Wonka and young actors Kylan Dowdy and Penelope Hanson sharing the role of Charlie Bucket. This enchanting musical follows Charlie and the other Golden Ticket winners as they explore the extraordinary world of Wonka's factory, filled with imagination and whimsy. Directed by Paul Takács and Todd D. Norris, the show promises a memorable holiday experience with beloved songs and elaborate set designs by Daniel Conway. The production runs from December 5 through January 12 on the Marjorie Arenstein stage.
