Join us for the Roger Voisin Trumpet Competition—a venue for trumpeters from all over the world to meet and compete in a positive atmosphere. Judge's Recital Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Final Round and Closing Ceremony Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. This final performance takes place in the Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center. No ticket required for all events.
Come hear the 2024 jury in recital. You will not want to miss these titans of the trumpet world live. This performance will include the world premiere of the 2024 commissioned work by Joseph Turrin performed by Chris Martin, principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic. Competition finalists will be announced at the conclusion of the recital.
Competitors face off in their final attempt to sway the judges in their favor. This round will feature our finalists as soloists with Lynn University Philharmonia under the baton of maestro Gerald Karni. Please join us for the awards ceremony immediately following the final performance.
