Marita Rodriguez has a thriving career as a solo pianist, chamber musician and educator. She is a member of the Cuban National Concert Music Center and the National Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba. The Lager organization granted her the Amadeo Roldan Award for her outstanding merits and contributions to music in Cuba, her native country. Marita has also been awarded the National Culture Medal, the Pedagogical Merit Award and the Cuban Education Medal by the University of the Arts of Havana (ISA). Free event; no ticket required.
