Hendersonville Theatre is set to debut its inaugural One Act Play Festival from August 23-25, 2024, showcasing a variety of short plays by both regional and national playwrights. One of the highlighted performances, I’d Rather Die Than Go Back To Christmastown by Abby Auman, satirizes the clichés of holiday romances through the story of a high-powered businesswoman trying to avoid falling into the typical narrative of sacrificing her career for love. Directed by Dakota Mann and featuring a cast that includes both new and familiar faces, this festival promises an engaging theatrical experience.
