A Sign You Were Alive is part of the inaugural One Act Play Festival at Hendersonville Theatre, presenting new works from local and national playwrights. Set in a suburban home during a pandemic, the play follows James as he navigates the challenges of caring for his sick daughter, Chelsea, while confronting themes of love, fear, and the quest for normalcy in extraordinary circumstances. The festival features a diverse array of short plays, directed by Dakota Mann, Liz Martino, Bess Park, and River Spade, showcasing the talents of both emerging and established actors, including newcomers like Goober Berdine and Shayne Gardner.
