SHREK THE MUSICAL will be performed at the Washington Pavilion from October 24–26, 2024. This family-friendly show brings the beloved characters of Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey to life on stage.

A fun-filled, family-friendly adventure is coming to Madison this fall. “Shrek the Musical,” the Tony Award®-winning hit musical based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, will stop at Overture Center as part of the show’s cross-country national tour. Audiences can expect a Shrek that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, inviting everyone to “fall in love all ogre again.”

In a fun and heartwarming tale that many of us know well, 'Shrek the Musical' tells the story of an embittered ogre named Shrek whose peaceful swamp home is taken over by fairy tale creatures banished by the power-hungry Lord Farquaad. With the comical Donkey by his side, Shrek strikes a deal with Farquaad to save Princess Fiona and, in return, secure the rights to his beloved swamp.

An all-new version of SHREK THE MUSICAL will depart Duloc to embark on a cross-country national tour that includes a stop in St. Louis at Stifel Theatre on October 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta has announced that SHREK The Musical will offer exclusive deals when it plays at the Fox Theatre from April 6 – 7.
