WRTC's 2024 Youth Program is excited to present their production of Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical Jr- Directed by Lauren Biasi & Assistant Directed by Sarah Kalinowski Performances: Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 3:00PM & 7:00PM Performed at Second Congregational Church, UCC 115 Hillside St Bennington, VT 05201 (in the Sanctuary!) Tickets: $10 (Can be purchased at the door or at WRTC's Online Box Office: https://wrtc.booktix.net/index.php) Plot: Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace! “ROALD DAHL'S MATILDA THE MUSICAL JR” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
