Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's most-loved comedies. The plot revolves around two couples — witty Beatrice and Benedick, who publicly proclaim their disdain for each other but are tricked into admitting there is love beneath it all; they contrast with the naïve Hero and Claudio, who fall in a love at first sight, a love that is all but destroyed by the machinations of the villain Don John via "Nothing"--rumor, innuendo, and gossip. With the help of the intrepid neighborhood watch, led by the hapless Dogberry, all “ends well.” This is a comedy entangled with a tragedy, where love and justice ultimately prevail. For those who have enjoyed the classics at Unadilla Theater, this production will not disappoint. There is great acting and some fun interpretations. Come join in all the “Ado.” Prepare to have a good time.
