In Jeffrey Hatcher’s retelling of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," transformation takes on a whole new meaning. The classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale still retains the central conflicts of good vs. evil and civilization vs. savagery, but in Hatcher’s version, the menacing Mr. Hyde is played by four actors — including one female. Reviewed as “a dark and disturbing story liberally peppered with humor,” this tale takes a look at the evil that lurks in the hearts of men.
