Basement Girl: Basement Girl Tett Centre, Rehearsal Hall Public Performances: August 18 at 2:30pm & 7:30pm A work-in-development by Bojana Babi, in residency supported by the Tett Centre. Join immigrant Jovana in her basement apartment, and see just what life is like for someone new to Canada. By contrasting the lived experiences of Canadian nationals and immigrants, this piece prompts audiences to question their role in a multicultural Canadian society. An in-development experience, Basement Girl draws audiences to take a closer look at the realities of the immigrant experience firsthand.
