You know the name "Henson" as synonymous with puppetry. But you probably don't know Henson Alternative, the edgy branch of the Jim Henson Company.
No Miss Piggy or Kermit here. Created by Brian Henson, son of legendary Muppet patriarch Jim, and improv master Patrick Bristow, Stuffed and Unstrung is decidedly not child's play.
This adults-only comedy improv gives a real "look behind the curtain" with puppeteers visible throughout the show, allowing the audience the opportunity to see the mechanics of the art and tricks of the trade. The show also has two large screens that allow the audience to see the production without puppeteers, as if it were a traditional puppet show.
