Emerson SPRING TO DANCE® Festival 2023

2 NIGHTS. 17 COMPANIES FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY. 90 ARTISTS. The Midwest region’s most celebrated dance festival returns for the 15th year!

  • “Arguably the best dance buffet in the Midwest” (Chicago Tribune)
  • “Successful both as a celebration of dance and as an invitation to bask in its artistry.” (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
  • “Audiences flock to the performances—the price is right and the offerings are generous.” (Time Out Chicago)

Dance St. Louis closes its 57th season with the Midwest region’s most celebrated dance festival: 15th Annual Emerson SPRING TO DANCE® Festival 2023, presented by Whitaker Foundation.

Nationally touring professional companies from coast to coast flock to St. Louis to bestow their artistry.

From New York City's sister-and-brother powerhouse ballet artists Megan Fairchild and Robbie Fairchild to Memphis' Collage Dance Collective to a globally acclaimed flamenco artist Irene Rodríguez, it’s a vibrant extravaganza and unmatched buffet of dance, featuring two days of nonstop dance from a wide array of companies, including powerhouse companies, breakout stars and up-and-coming companies.

As one of the region’s must-see festivals, SPRING TO DANCE offers something for everyone, from modern and ballet to contemporary, flamenco and more, with a distinct, dynamic program each night.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15, $20 and $25. Save with festival 4-packs for $60 and $75. Additional festival packs (6-packs, 8-packs & 10-packs) are also available.
