Nathaniel in Prophets & Painkillers at Artscape Theatre

Singer/songwriter/entertainer Nataniël returns to Cape Town's Artscape Theatre with a new production celebrating 28 years on stage. After releasing 15 albums, 16 books and staging more than 65 original productions Nataniël knows all about prophets and painkillers and shares his unique view of the world in 6 concerts of temporary hope. His signature Afrikaans and English stories and hilarious sketches will entertain audiences alongside iconic renditions of his own new music, torch songs, blues, swing and rock. Nataniël shares the stage with the Charl du Plessis Trio featuring Steinway Artist Charl du Plessis (piano), Werner Spies (bass) and Hugo Radyn (drums). A spectacular new selection of Nataniël's trademark costumes by Floris Louw will add the finishing touches to this production set to be the highlight on the 2015 cultural calendar.
