'Inside The Lion King,' the first immersive, pop-up exhibit ever created for a Broadway show, arrives adjacent to Bryant Park, on 42nd Street and Avenue of the Americas, for a limited time to celebrate 15 years of The Lion King in New York City. More than 65 million people have experienced The Lion King, but never before like this. In this free exhibit, fans of all ages will experience and interact with 86 museum-quality artifacts including hand-made puppets, sculpted masks, elaborate artisan costumes and extraordinary sets that have appeared in productions from around the world. CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's THE LION KING was already hard a work recording their track for the album. It was another version of 'Circle of Life' on-stage at Broadway's THE LION KING Friday night, September 3, when The Bachelorette's Ali Fedotowsky and fiancé Roberto Martinez were joined by both of their families to take in the show. Following the performance, they joined cast member Dashaun Young (Simba) back-stage where he presented them with a gift from the cast. Ali and Roberto were all smiles when they received the custom-made Playbill in which they got star billing.

Broadway's landmark musical event THE LION KING recently welcomed to the company: GARETH SAXE as the evil and power-hungry lion Scar; ALTON FITZGERALD WHITE as Mufasa, the great lion warrior and ruler of the Pridelands; CAMERON POW as the prim and proper hornbilled bird Zazu; BEN JEFFREY as the carefree warthog Pumbaa; FRED BERMAN as the wisecracking meerkat Timon; and CHAUNTEÉ SCHULER as the loyal lioness Nala. Jeffrey, Berman and Schuler will mark their Broadway debut with The Lion King. Produced by Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions, THE LION KING is currently playing at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th Street).

The Walt Disney Company today donated two complete costumes from its Tony and Oliver Award-winning musical THE LION KING to the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).

Disney's landmark musical event THE LION KING celebrated 5000 Broadway performances on Thursday, November 5 at the Minskoff Theatre. Only eight other musicals have reached this milestone, including Disney's Beauty and the Beast. THE LION KING is the ninth longest-running musical in Broadway history and the first American musical to welcome 50 million guests worldwide.

President George W. Bush and President John Agyekum Kufuor of Ghana joined cast members from Disney's Tony Award-winning Broadway production of THE LION KING on stage in the Rose Garden at the White House Monday evening, Sept. 15, 2008, following their performance at the State Dinner in honor of President Kufour's visit to the United States.

This weekend, Disney's The Lion King, the world's most spectacular musical, will receive another honor as the legendary Empire State Building will be lit in 'Lion King Yellow' in recognition of the landmark production's 10th anniversary on Broadway.
