This past weekend, Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman of "So You Think You Can Dance" attended a performance of Newsies, the Tony Award winning new American musical, and visited with the cast backstage afterwards. Cast members Evan Kasprzak and Jess LeProtto have both competed on the Fox dance competition, in seasons five and eight respectively. Check out backstage photos below!

Last night, stage and recording star Deborah Gibson and husband, Dr. Rutledge Taylor, attended a performance of Newsies to see Gibson's nephew Nicholas Lampiasi, who plays the role of Les, in the Tony Award winning new American musical.

Last night, eight-time Grammy Award winner and 2009 Tony® Award nominee Dolly Parton, attended a performance of Newsies, the Tony® Award winning new American musical, and visited with the cast backstage afterwards. Parton attended with the show's director, Jeff Calhoun. Calhoun first worked with Parton when he was cast as a dancer in the 1982 film version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and recently directed both the US and UK tours of her Broadway musical 9 to 5. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. On Wednesday, July 18th, Joan Rivers attended NEWSIES on Broadway with her grandson and his friend. She raved about the show backstage and said that she especially loved the choreography and the energy of the cast. Check out photos of Rivers with the cast below!

Heidi Klum took in one of Broadway's hottest shows, NEWSIES, on Saturday, July 7th. After the matinee performance, she visited with the cast backstage, talking about Katie Holmes' recent taping of "Project Runway" while her children explored the 3-story set.
