The charming small town of Boulder City, Nevada will welcome movie lovers to enjoy Nevada’s largest film festival in person after two years of virtual-only experiences. The 19th Annual Dam Short Film Festival will screen 153 short films in downtown Boulder City over a 5-day period, February 16-20.

BendFilm has announced the 20 films and filmmakers awarded jury prizes and more than $12,000 at the 2022 BendFilm Festival. After the success of Rio de Janeriro’s season, the play Ponto a Ponto (Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles), directed by Gustavo Barchilon, opens in Sao Paulo on July 15, at Teatro B32. The show features Luiz Fernando Guimaraes giving life to a 90-year-old lady, Bruno Gissoni as her grandson and Renata Ricci in two roles.

Red Bull Theater have announced the cast for the eight world premieres in this year's Short New Play Festival 2022. 

The Tony-award-winning musical, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, based on a Caribbean interpretation of Hans Christian Anderson’s, The Little Mermaid, will come to the Baxter Flipside for a short season from 8 to 16 July 2022 at 7pm with matinees at 2pm.
