The 2011 Festival of New American Musicals, a five-month musical theatre festival, will be held April 1 through August 28, 2011, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the annual festival, now in its fourth year. This year's Festival includes 16 world premieres, and an additional 10 west coast premieres.

American Conservatory Theatre Announces Showcases for Class of 2011

The students in the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Program class of 2011 will launch their careers as professional actors with the M.F.A. Program Class of 2011 Showcase, presented in association with the Brown/Trinity Rep M.F.A. Acting & Directing Program. This spring, after completing three years of intensive actor training at A.C.T., the M.F.A. Program class of 2011 will graduate from the conservatory. The culmination of their studies at A.C.T. is a showcase production presented to professional theater and film directors, agents, and casting directors in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The showcase provides students with their first opportunity to exhibit their talents to industry professionals and to meet with agents and casting directors to discuss potential career opportunities. These invitation-only events will take place at these locations on the following dates:

In King O' the Moon the family is also dysfunctional, but they love each other and want one another to be happy,' said Producing Artistic Director and the play's director, Robert Cacioppo. FRIGID New York returns 100% of the box office revenue to the participating company.
