With an opening set for December 3rd (6:30PM), Miss Minnelli will bring her unmatchable magic to Broadway for an engagement now scheduled to play through December 28th---surpassing the originally announced closing date of December 14th. Included in the extension, is a special holiday matinee at 3PM on December 24th.

The New York Pops led by Vincent Falcone and Eric Stern, celebrates its hometown on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall in a program entitled 'A Love Letter to New York' featuring classic songs about New York City and the world premieres of original songs about the city by composer Kenneth Laub. Clint Holmes headlines the concert with special guests Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Turtle Shell Productions is announcing the world premiere of new musical Fritz & Froyim, with book and lyrics by Norman Beim (Success) and music by Mark Barkan (writer for Nat King Cole, Vic Damone, Elvis Presley and Paul Anka) and Rolf Barnes (composer, conductor for Volpe). The show is based on Romain Gary's novel The Dance of Genghis Cohn, and will be directed by Turtle Shell Productions Artistic Director John W. Cooper.
