Emmy Award-winning actor Richard Thomas is confirmed to star as Atticus Finch for the complete third touring season of the First National Tour of the history-making production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee's classic novel. The production is currently on a multi-year national tour across North America.

The Guthrie Theater in co-production with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, presents the world premiere of Shane by Karen Zacarías, adapted from the novel by Jack Schaefer and directed by Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park Artistic Director Blake Robison. Co-commissioned by the Guthrie and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2021, Shane will play July 15 – August 27, 2023, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

The Saint Sebastian Players have announced the company's 42nd season, featuring a musical with toe-tapping nuns, a political drama and a classic romantic comedy. Performances take place at SSP's home in the lower level of St. Bonaventure.

New Fortune Theatre Company brings the West Coast premiere of PUBLIC ENEMY, a streamlined new version of Henrik Ibsen’s AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, to the stage.  With a talented cast, this one act shows that the idea of truth is dangerous to the “greater good” as defined by those in power has always been a relevant one.  PUBLIC ENEMY is playing through July 2nd. 

Klaris Law, a boutique media, entertainment, technology, and intellectual property firm based in New York, announced today that Nevin Law Group, Broadway's go-to production law practice, will join its team. Nevin Law Group Founder Doug Nevin is named partner and head of the newly-formed Theater and Live Events department at Klaris. 

 L.A. Theatre Works presents the world premiere of Exodus: The Shanghai Jews, an original, commissioned audio docudrama by Kate McAll.

Kwame Kwei-Armah will become Artistic Advisor at Manhattan Theatre Club beginning in the 2023-24 season. Kwei-Armah, who will remain in his role as Artistic Director of the Young Vic in London, will work with Meadow and the MTC artistic staff, advising on programming and future planning.

Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, has announced the dates for Lynn Nottage's Mlima's Tale. Miranda Cromwell's production opens on 21 September, with previews from 14 September, and runs until 21 October. Priority booking for Kiln Card holders opens today at 12pm today. General on sale is 12pm tomorrow, 17 May.

Jeremy Strong (Succession) will star in a new Broadway production of Henrik Ibsen’s AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, featuring a new adaptation by Amy Herzog, directed by Tony Award- winner Sam Gold. The production will premiere on Broadway in early 2024 at a theater to be announced.
