On the final episode of Trek to Broadway, join the company of Allegiance for all the excitement of Opening Night on Broadway. Go backstage as the cast tries to stay calm and prepare for their official debut while the fervor of celebrities and special guests arriving on the red carpet outside the Longacre Theatre. For many of those involved, opening night is a huge milestone. As their seven-year journey to the Broadway stage culminates in this night, tune in to see what happens when their dreams become a reality. 

Sing Out, Louise! Productions and ATA have announced that the new musical Allegiance, with music & lyrics by Jay Kuo, will be preserved with an original cast album to be recorded on Monday, December 7, 2015 at MSR Studios.  The recording will be produced by Lynne Shankel & Joel Moss for Sing Out, Louise! Productions.  Principal Allegiance cast members Lea Salonga, George Takei, Telly Leung, Katie Rose Clarke and Michael K. Lee will be joined by the entire company for the studio session, which will include original recordings of tracks such as "Wishes on the Wind," "What Makes a Man," "With You," "Stronger Than Before," and Salonga's Act One showstopper "Higher," among many others.  The album is scheduled to be released digitally on January 30, 2016.  For more information, visit www.AllegianceMusical.com.

For Telly Leung's sophomore album, SONGS FOR YOU, the acclaimed Broadway performer decided to make an album where each song is dedicated to the important people in his life. According to the liner notes that is where each of the classic tunes that compose the track listing found their breath of life, allowing Leung to "focus on the sentiment and energy of the song." Thus, audiences are presented with an album that almost sounds like a cabaret act, except it's clearly recorded in a studio.
