Door Shakespeare, Producing Artistic Director Michael Stebbins, and Managing Director Amy Ensign, have announced their first virtual production: 'Rosalind,' by J.M. Barrie, running Wednesday, September 2 through Sunday, September 13. Shows are Wednesdays through Fridays at 7:30, Saturdays at 5:00 and 7:30, and Sundays at 5:00. The National Theatre today announces nine productions that will play on the South Bank in 2020-2021 alongside previously announced shows. These run alongside our international touring productions, three plays that will tour to multiple venues across the UK and a West End transfer. The NT also announces today that it will increase the quantity of low-price tickets on the South Bank by 25%, with 250,000 available across the year at £20 or less.

Amanda Boxer will star in the world premiere of MUM, a new play about love, loss and dementia by actress and comedian Juliet Cowan, directed by Yasmeen Arden, opening at the Playground Theatre on 18 April and playing until 4 April, with a press night on Friday 20 March. Sian Ejiwunmi-Le Berre will star as 'Roz', Lucille Findlay as 'Laurel' and completing the cast are Lilly Driscoll and Martin Edwards.

Seattle Shakespeare Company Announces Free Summer Series

Seattle Shakespeare Company's free Wooden O productions for this summer will be The Comedy of Errors and Othello. Both shows will start performances on July 9 and will perform in park venues throughout the region through August 9. (please see attached schedule). Two summer Shakespeare veterans will make their Wooden O directing debuts.  Crystal Dawn Munkers will direct The Comedy of Errors and Reginald André Jackson will direct Othello.

If you guessed NOISES OFF presented by the Arts Club Theatre Company, you definitely would be correct! I had the pleasure of seeing the show last week and I can honestly say it was one of the best productions I've seen from the Arts Club so far! Playing at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Theatre in Vancouver from January 23rd to February 23rd, NOISES OFF is definitely worth the money to see!
