From a handful of some of Eagle's most talented favorite actors to the newcomers we are treated to one glorious emotion-packed piece.

Eagle Theatre will open their biggest blockbuster to date on January 25th, featuring the largest company and creative team ever assembled at the regional theatre.

Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University's production will reveal the contemporary resonances of the Tony Award-winning musical, Ragtime, based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow with book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. Performances will run Today, January 25th (Opening) through Sunday, February 17th with Todays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Act(s) of God, by Ensemble Member Kareem Bandealy, directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. Act(s) of God runs February 13 April 7, 2019 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The press performances are February 22 and February 23 at 7:30 p.m.

The Landing Theatre Company's New American Voices Play Reading Series is an annual event showcasing four plays written by outstanding emerging playwrights from across the United States.

It was announced today that Australian daredevil Sam Powers, aka The Enigma, will join the Melbourne season of The Illusionists: Direct from Broadway at The Regent Theatre from 22 January 2019. Described by critics as a new breed of escape artist, Powers will attempt a world first, death defying escape in a nail biting, edge-of-your-seat spectacle that would have Houdini turn in his grave.

Eisemann Center Presents Page Turner Adventures' production of The Magnificent Circus Mystery on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall at the Eisemann Center. A steamer trunk, a mysterious book, and a hat belonging to Harry Houdini begin a show filled with magic, juggling, unicycling, and physical comedy. The audience must solve clues, overcome obstacles, and figure out a 90 year-old-secret as they help to create the story from beginning to end.

Season 22 at the Sacred Fools Theater Company continues with the world premiere comedy The Value of Moscow by Amy Dellagiarino and directed by Carrie Keranen.
