Brooklyn's Future Generations are happy to announce a massive tour of North America with dates that kick off September 18 at Philadelphia's Johnny Brenda's. The tour takes them to, among other markets, Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, Chicago, IL and Montreal, QC. The dates conclude with a hometown show at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn, NY on October 25. The full tour is listed below and including already-announced summer dates.

American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) and the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University have announced the equity cast members at the helm of 'Something in the Game: An All-American Musical.'

Beginning with small talk near a white picket fence, and dramatically escalating as the Keller family's skeletons reveal themselves, Arthur Miller examines the aftermath of the war within the home front. Currently running at The City Theatre, ALL MY SONS tackles the moral code of a small family and the ability to look the other way. Joe Keller (played by Rick Smith), the patriarch of the family, reads his newspaper and drinks his coffee, examining the fallen tree in his front yard - the memorial tree planted for his 'missing' son, Larry. The audience meets Kate Keller (played by Tracy Hurd), Joe's stubborn wife holding onto the hope her son Larry, who has been missing in action for three years after fighting in WWII, will come home any minute. Despite Kate's pining for her son Larry, Chris Keller (played by Sean Gordon), the surviving son from the war, has arrived home and invited a guest. Originally Larry's girlfriend, Ann Deever (played by Katrin Otterness) arrives with different intentions than Kate Keller would approve of. Given the domestic drama of Ann's love fitting within the Keller clan, the audience learns Joe Keller worked with Ann's father Steve Deever at their manufacturing plant during the war. As the drama unfolds between the moral love triangle of brothers, the moral conundrum between good and evil is examined with Steve's current imprisonment and Joe's delightful morning coffees free to brew on his current freedom. Initially, peering into the lives of the Kellers reveals a content family with friendly neighbors and patriotic, hard-working values. However, as Arthur Miller shines a critical light on their moral denial, the part the Kellers collectively played in the death of 21 World War II pilots becomes shockingly more apparent.

The Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony (AYWS), the premier honor wind ensemble for high school youth in the Atlanta metropolitan area, will perform a special concert on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Md.

According to Variety, the American Girl Doll company has plans to bring the world of their brand to audiences all over the country and a new, dynamic way. AMERICAN GIRL LIVE will be a musical production inspired by the dolls and their stories.

Oakland University's School of Music, Theatre and Dance will present Hands on a Hardbody, an all-American musical, from March 28 through April 7 in the Varner Studio Theatre in Varner Hall.

Georgia native Dave Stone (aka The Kraken) was on the verge of beginning a new passion. A career scuba diver, River Logger, and fresh off the TV series 'Ax Men' on the History Channel, Dave Stone was thinking of becoming an FM radio personality at the local Country Music Radio station, WAAC 92.9 FM All American Country. The owner had opened the door for him to get involved with the 100,000-watt station, located in Valdosta, Georgia.

I must preface this article to indicate that as much as I found this production of ALL MY SONS to be beguiling and devastatingly gripping, I found myself thinking, 'Wow, people just don't talk this way anymore. In fact, they really don't act this way anyone, either.' The play was written and set in 1947.

The contribution of Jewish composers and lyricists to the Great American Songbook will be explored in a special concert event created, written, directed and hosted by NYC impresario Scott Siegel. Famous songs from the theater, movies, and pop that have become beloved standards -- all written by Jews -- will be highlighted. Expect to hear classics both old and new from the likes of Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hart, The Gershwins, Leonard, Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Jason Robert Brown, as well as hits made famous by their composers, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, and more.

Chris Stapleton's ALL AMERICAN ROAD SHOW will hit the road again in 2018 including newly confirmed shows at New York's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' The Forum and Chicago's Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre among others.
