The Broadway revival of Gypsy has announced the furry friends who will be taking the stage in the role of 'Chowsie'. Tana June and Indy, two rescues from Homeward Bound in Elkhart, Indiana. Tana June will play the role, with Indy understudying. Meet the dogs here.

Papatango has announced that Hannah Doran has won the 16th annual Papatango New Writing Prize for her play The Meat Kings! (Inc.) of Brooklyn Heights, from 1,589 entries – a record number for the Prize, meaning it continues to be the biggest annual playwriting scheme in the UK.

To be totally honest with you, I would have been satisfied with EPAC’s recent production of Gypsy if it was simply the orchestra banging out the soundtrack.  The nine piece band led by conductor, Cheryl Markle was every bit as bold and brass and full of life as Mamma Rose, herself!
