Chamber Music Marin: Frisson Nonet at Chamber Music Marin

Chamber Music Marin presents Frisson Nonet, a unique ensemble featuring a string quartet, bass, and woodwind quintet that offers a sound reminiscent of an orchestra without percussion. This concert will showcase an eclectic mix of pieces, including Walter August's Octet for Strings and Winds, Gershwin's Three Preludes for Clarinet and Strings, and Martinu's Nonet for Strings and Winds. The performance will conclude with Ravel's iconic Bolero, adapted for the nonet format.
