Teatro Audaz presents the Southwest premiere of ¡Bernarda!, a fresh adaptation by Emilio Williams of Federico Garcia Lorca's classic tale. The story revolves around Bernarda, who imposes a heavy mourning on herself and her four daughters following her husband's death, leading to escalating tensions and rivalries. As the daughters yearn for freedom, the oppressive dynamics reveal the damaging impact of Bernarda's authoritarian control. The production runs from September 19 to 29 at The Little Carver Theater.
