PYGmalion Theatre Company opens its 2024/2025 season with Tender Hooks, a play by Julie Jensen directed by Fran Pruyn. Set in a small Southern Utah town, the story revolves around La Priel, who confronts her fears when a family with five children, each with a different physical deformity, moves in next door. The cast features Jensie Anderson, Jane Huefner, Brenda Hattingh, and Addie Bowler, and explores themes of social class, fear, and the judgments that come with the unknown. Jensen's writing combines humor and complexity, offering a timeless examination of human nature and the disparities that divide society.
