Repertory Dance Theatre presents a thought-provoking performance, highlighting the relationship between water and human experience through the lens of South Indian Bharatanatyam dance. From the Cauvery River in India to the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the choreography created by Artistic Director Srilatha Singh invites audiences to reflect on conservation and respect for this vital resource. Collaborating with poet Nan Seymour, the dance ensemble of Chitrakaavya Dance will weave together stories and music that span cultures and histories, bridging the ancient and modern in their exploration of water's significance.
