Constellations at Good Company Theatre

Good Company Theatre is excited to open its 2019 season with the Utah Premiere of Constellations, a play by British playwright Nick Payne.Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a quantum physicist, meet and share an awkward conversation. Then they meet again, and flirt. Or, they meet again, and nothing happens. They fall in love with each other. Or, they fall in love with other people. What happens next is a beautiful reflection on relationships, and how the smallest decisions can dramatically change the course of our lives."The concept of multiverse and parallel realities is nothing new," explains Director Tracy Callahan. "What makes this play so compelling is its intimate approach to the vastness of the multiverse.""Good Company Theatre is excited to produce this expertly written, deeply examined piece of theatre," says Good Company Theatre Founder and Co-Director Alicia Washington. "Constellations offers an optimistic, poetic take on human connection, and the potential for change."Constellations features performances by Jesse Nepivoda (Marie Antoinette, In The End There Was Snow), Haley McCormick (A Bright New Boise, Wit). It is directed by Tracy Callahan (The Cripple of Inishmaan, Venus in Fur). This one-act play includes adult language, and a moment of mild physical violence. It is not recommended for audiences under age 13. Tickets are $20, and can be purchased online at www.goodcotheatre.com or at the door before each performance. It runs January 18-February 3, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and 2nd Saturday and Sundays at 4pm.
