Mamaroneck, NY— This summer the Hope Players, in line with The Hope for Change Foundation, will be performing “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)”. Directed by Brian Sgambati, the show stars BJ Markus, Bret Fox and Jason Summers. Performances are August 12 & 13 at 8pm and August 14 at 3pm at the Westchester Sandbox Theatre (931 E Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY). Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and $15 for students and seniors. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.hopeforchange.org or call (914) 206-9617.
Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfeld, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” takes all of Shakespeare’s works and condenses them into a 90-minute comedic adventure. From rap to football games to cooking shows, the three actors go above and beyond to take the “dry, boring” material presented by Shakespeare and turn it into one fluid, laugh out loud experience.
