The Performing Arts Center will host Manual Cinema's innovative adaptation of Frankenstein on October 20, 2024. This Chicago-based collective merges shadow puppetry, cinematic techniques, and live music to explore the intertwined stories of Mary Shelley, Victor Frankenstein, and the creature. The production reveals how family and community shape identity and delves into the themes of creation and its consequences. Following the performance, there will be a meet-the-artist session, allowing the audience to engage with the creators and their work.
