After co-directing The One Act Play That Goes Wrong last year, Aubrey is excited to be back on the J-DAPA stage! Aubrey earned her BA in Theatre at Providence College and MFA in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. This is the second time Aubrey has played a fictional married couple with her real-life husband, with the first time being J-DAPA’s production of Matilda where they played the Wormwoods. Aubrey is also a co-instructor of J-DAPA’s youth acting class for kids ages 10-14.
David Sackal
Ollie
Dave is a local Rhode Island actor and serves as a co-instructor of J-DAPA’s youth acting class for kids ages 10-14. His recent roles include Friar Lawrence in Romeo & Juliet, and Pierre in Red Velvet, both at Burbage Theatre Company in Pawtucket, RI. Dave also played Chris Bean in J-DAPA’s production of The One Act Play That Goes Wrong last year.
Serena Roy
Miss Dee, Kay
Serena is 22 years old and recently received a BA in Criminology from Hofstra University. Serena currently works for her dad and is employed by J-DAPA as one of our acting teachers! Most recently, Serena appeared as Rosalie in J-DAPA’s production of School of Rock. Other favorite roles include Sara Brown in Guys and Dolls, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, and a featured soloist/music director for J-DAPA’s 2023 cabaret, Razzle Dazzle.

Stage Manager, Lighting and Sound Design
Matt is a RI native who has worked with J-DAPA since 2015, and has served as the lighting designer for J-DAPA's productions of Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Matilda, Elf JR, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, and School of Rock. Since May 2019, he has served as the resident lighting designer for all of our recitals and cabarets as well. Matt also served as a stage manager for Elf JR and School of Rock and was responsible for music and sound effects playback for Little Shop of Horrors and Matilda. Outside of J-DAPA, Matt is a freelance lighting designer for organizations throughout RI and works as a web content developer at AAA Northeast.
