Considered by many to be the first computer programmer, mathematician Ada Byron Lovelace – constrained by the social rules of her day – creates a vision where art and information converge at the beginning of the British Industrial Revolution. In 1835, Ada, an awkward young socialite and brilliant mathematician, met the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics Charles Babbage. Lovelace and Babbage's relationship deepens as intellect and imagination converge in this wistful romantic production by Lauren Gunderson. Produced by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing.
Titmus Theatre is at 2241 Dunn Avenue, Raleigh, NC.
