being Here…/this time is a visceral, multimedia work driven by deeply physical performances and heightened by a three-dimensional audio design. Choreographer Marjani Forté and her dancers traverse complex intersections of mental illness, addiction and systemic poverty. The final act in a three-year process of development and engagement work, including a creative residency at KST, being Here…/this time travels through time, space and the imagination of its creator to burrow through the real-world madness of systemic degradation.
