Jessica Vosk, the dazzling singer and actress known for her work on Broadway and beyond, brings her spectacular sold-out Carnegie Hall debut show, “My Golden Age,” on the road. The evening of music and stories features works from Stephen Sondheim to Andrew Lloyd Webber to Leonard Cohen, artists whom she credits with writing musical scores “like maps for my life,” and pays homage to the likes of Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, and Bette Midler. The premiere was directed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle and included a few never-before-heard songs, including “Sleep Walk,” written by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Robert Lee Castleman and commissioned for Carnegie Hall specifically for Vosk. “A wow-inducing show filled with whip smart, laugh-out-loud humor, fun personal stories, and some of the most stunning vocal riffs I’ve heard sung live, Ms. Vosk’s rapturous 90-minute-plus set proves in person why she has deservedly become one of the stage’s favorite musical theater divas.” – BroadwayWorld
