Damn Yankees is the retro 1950's musical comedy that takes the love of baseball to the next level! Poor middle-aged Joe's beloved team, the Washington Senators, are on a losing streak with no end in sight. Much to his wife Meg's dismay, his fanaticism has him glued to the game for six months a year until a reversal of fortune changes everything, perhaps forever!
Joe's prayers are answered by the smooth-talking Mr Applegate, but he's no saint, quite the opposite! Mr Applegate is Satan and, in exchange for Joe's soul, he promises success and the glittering New York Pennant, with Joe transformed into their big-hitting, young, handsome new star.
But at what price? Will Joe be able to resists Mr Applegate's temptations, (including the sultry siren Lola) and restore his humanity, and will the Senators win the league? With a winning score from Adler and Ross and a zinging book from George Abbot, don't miss this all singing, all dancing, all joking spectacular, a slice of true American entertainment!
