Written and performed by Valley young people, Dear 2020! gives audiences an insight into the often humorous and sometimes tragic ways that the year 2020 and the global pandemic have affected our way of life. Audience members and child actors will interact in this cathartic piece all about growing up in this new normal, as they share their experiences, bond, heal, and navigate uncharted territory together.

Kylan Chait
Kylan is a 14-year-old Freshman at ASU Prep who has been seen on the VYT stage in A Winnie-the- Pooh Christmas Tail (Eeyore), They Chose Me! (Marcus) and Matilda (Big Kid). Kylan lives in Guadalupe where he loves to read and hang out with his brother and his 3 dogs named “Zenny”, “Kisa” and “Poppy”. When he grows up, Kylan would like to be a Child Psychologist. Kylan was chosen by VYT to participate in the Arizona Commission for the Arts’s Creative Youth Development Investment Cohort, an initiative that invests in arts and culture organizations and programs that center youth voice across Arizona.
