The Garden: River’s Edge at Arch Street Meeting House

The Garden: River’s Edge is a guided immersive experience created by the Nichole Canuso Dance Company, taking place at the historic Arch Street Meeting House from September 7 to September 22, 2024. This innovative work invites six audience members at a time to engage in a series of site-specific encounters, utilizing audio prompts to guide them through playful and tender interactions with dancers and the venue's architecture. Each participant follows their own unique path, resulting in a personal exploration that emphasizes minimal physical activity and distance during interactions. After years of touring, this piece returns to Philadelphia in a new form, emphasizing the power of connection through movement and sound.
