Some of the most talented students from across the Greater Philadelphia area with Philadelphia Youth Jazz Orchestra (PYJO) will be performing a free concert this Saturday at Temple Performing Arts Center at 4pm. See a jazzy take on holiday classics and support our most talented young musicians from our communities! Director and Conductor Justin Faulkner, the drummer for Branford Marsalis’ jazz quartet, shares his excitement: “PYJO’s program is a celebration of creativity and history, blending iconic jazz works with a fresh, youthful energy. Our students have poured their hearts into these pieces, and we look forward to sharing the joy and spontaneity of jazz with our community.”
PYO Music Institute is at 1837 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA, Philadelphia, PA.
