Lightbooth Blackout presents a contemporary adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic tale, staged at Widener University's historic Lathem Hall. This reimagining follows Victor Frankenstein, played by Thomas-Robert Irvin, as he grapples with the consequences of his ambition and the horror of his creation. The production features live original music by composer Mick Loro and explores the haunting question of whether the true monster is the creator or the creation. With a cast including Walter McCready, Britt Fauzer, Carlos Jiga, and Stacy Skinner, this rendition seeks to delve into themes of morality, identity, and the nature of monstrosity.
