Students enrolled in our Waitress Masterclass will have the rare opportunity to perform for and get personalized feedback from Stephanie Torns and Jessie Hooker-Bailey, followed by a Q&A. Dont miss the chance to study with Broadways best !Participating students should be prepared to share a 16-32 bar cut of a song, from Waitress or another song of their choosing, or a 1 minute monologue. Our guests will provide support, encouragement and feedback to each participant. (Note: If you need help finding material, Broadway Bound Kids can help you). BIO: Jessie Hooker-Bailey is an actress whose Broadway credits include: Grammy winner Sara Bareilles hit Waitress (understudying Dawn) and Tony Award winning Beautiful:The Carole King musical. Jessie has been residing in New York City as a working actress for over 10 years. Performing regionally as Sarah in Milwaukee Reps Ragtime, Savannah in the co-production of Disneys Freaky Friday, Rusty in PCLOs Footloose, and in national tours (Legally Blonde) before making her Broadway debut. She enjoys spending time with her husband Gil, puppy Jade, and sharing all she has been learning in her professional experiences along with doing her commercial and voiceover work. Jessie graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory with a BFA in musical theatre.Stephanie Torns was in the original Broadway cast, and most recently seen as Jenna Hunterson in the musical "Waitress". She is a born and raised New Yorker, with a giant love for teaching. After graduating AMDA in 2007, she booked the First National Tour of "Wicked", where she was in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba. She continued with the show for a year, and eventually made her Broadway Debut with the NY company in 2010. Some other regional credits include: 9to5 (Judy Bernly), Les Miserables (Eponine), and The Producers.
