On March 24, Baruch Performing Arts Center presents the United States premiere of Pomes libres de droits by Pulitzer and Grammy award-winning composer William Bolcom. This marks the New York debut of the internationally acclaimed soprano Rayanne Dupuis, who with pianist Guy Livingston (An exceptionally agile and charismatic performer. Los Angeles Times), Bolcom wrote this work for. The song cycle, on poems by Guillaume Apollinaire, is a wistful nod to Bolcoms formative years in Paris. The premiere is part of Dupuis and Livingstons program Tears at the Happy Hour.
