The Gallery Players in Park Slope, Brooklyn present STEEL MAGNOLIAS by Robert Harling, April 13-28. STEEL MAGNOLIAS examines the relationships between a tight-knit group of southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor who witness the milestones in each other's lives. The play is alternately hilarious and touching -- and, in the end, deeply revealing of the strength and purposefulness which underlies the antic banter of its characters. The title suggests the main female characters can be both as delicate as the magnolia flower and as tough as steel, and the play's complexities will move the audience to both laughter and tears. Performances run April 13-28: Thurs, Fri, Sat @ 8:00pm, Sat (Apr. 20 & 27) at 2:00pm, Sun @ 3:00pm. For more information, visit: http://galleryplayers.com/plays/steel-magnolias/
