Choreographer/dancer Iquail Shaheed brings his DANCE IQUAIL! for its 16th NYC season with the world premiere of his "Public Enemy." In this new work, the Philadelphia-based company explores black male identity in the context of social issues that disproportionately black men, particularly in the areas of policing, incarceration, and racialized violence. Dr. Shaheed has collaborated with civil rights leader William Cobb, storyteller Daniel Carlton, and composer Jo Jo Streater. April 21 at 7:30 pm; April 22 at 3 pm & 7:30 pm.
